I hate to say good-bye

The marine corps has allowed me to meet so many great people and make such amazing friends. I spent most of my husbands deployment hanging out with Lauren and encouraging each other through the days. After a few months after the boys Lauren gave me the news that she and her husband Kyle were expecting! Kyle just recently EASed (end of active service) out of the marines, which meant that they would be leaving before we got to see the little one make its appearance into the world. I am so thankful I got the chance to photograph these two before they left the island. I wish there was a way I could just carry everyone I’ve met around with me.
